About Z Top Services
Who We Are. What We Do. Why It Matters.
My name is Renel Gaines, founder of Z Top Services, LLC. I bring more than 24 years of law-enforcement experience with the Riverside County Probation Department. Throughout my career, I served as a line staff, senior, supervisor, and ultimately a division manager overseeing a large and diverse team. My work spanned the juvenile halls, field operations, administrative leadership, which included department training, backgrounds, internal affairs and human resources, and specialized investigation assignment units. The experience gave me a deep understanding of investigative and legal processes, human behavior, and the importance of thorough, ethical decision-making. After many years of service, it allowed me to develop strong skills in interviewing, case analysis, report writing, supervision, and high-level case management, while also building empathy for the individuals, families, and professionals involved in the justice system.
After retiring, I knew I wasn't finished serving my community. My passion for investigative work, my attention to detail, and my desire to help people navigate complex legal and personal situations led me to build Z Top Services. Today, I am proud to offer services as a:
